can "move completed to" move files while it‘s downloading

Hello there,
I'm looking for a software that can move completed files from a torrent while it's downloading. An AI told me that Deluge has an option called "move completed to," but I'm not sure about how it works.
For example, if I set "move completed to" to /data, and a torrent includes five files, does Deluge move the files to /data as soon as each file is completed, or does it move them only after all five files are completed?
I have a 256GB SSD, and I want to save incomplete downloads to /SSD/data and then move completed downloads to /HDD/data. Unfortunately, many TV series are larger than 256GB, so I need to implement this storage strategy. I hope I've described my idea clearly.
I'd appreciate any tips. Thanks very much.

Unfortunately it doesn't, only when the full torrent finished, or what enabled of it for download, sorry.

Maybe others here now of some tips for that instead? I mean plugins or third-party interaction tools etc, to use with deluge, as affraid I dont myself.

Thank you very much, mhertz. That helps a lot. At least this question doesn't bother me anymore. Have a nice day!

Can't you pause, move and do a force recheck?
