Deluge "forgets" what it downloaded and wont close

Hello everyone !
I need help please.
An old problem i regularly have with deluge started to happen again :
After a fresh installation, Deluge works well.
I ask deluge to use the folders on a different drive than the drive of where deluge is installed
But like i said, at first Deluge runs fine until i get a number of downloads
Then, after a while, Deluge pauses them all on startup, and shows the completed downloads as "empty" and needs to "force re-check" all the dowloads to show them as they really are if they are completed.
Also: Deluge then cannot close.
It leaves a blank window and i have to end the process via the system monitor ot the terminal.
I had the problem yesterday, so i completely uninstalled deluge with "sudo apt-get remove --purge deluge"
and even "sudo apt-get remove --purge deluge-gtk".
I even deleted manually all the folders and files remaining with the name "deluge".
Then i reinstalled deluge with "sudo add-apt-repository ppa:deluge-team/stable" and
"sudo apt-get install deluge"
In a previous installation (Linux mint 21 "Vanessa") i had the same problem; at first everything is fine, then after i get a number of downloads, Deluge starts having the problem and needs to force re-check all the dowloads.
Even if i take away the downloads and store them in an external drive to lignten the load for the program the problem persists.
Here is the system i have with the console command : inxi -SMCGx
