Hi, I've been using Deluge now for a few days. I have 100mbps up/down. I checked they both flow fine up and down. In Deluge I am able to get a file quite fast, it completes downloading but uploading..Seeding takes a long time.

My question is. Is there a reason for this perhaps a setting or is it something completely different?

I'm going out on a limb here and say you're rather new to torrenting?

I think what you are describing is that if many people offer the file and you request it, it gets seeded from many people and send all to you. So you get the combined seeding capability of those many.

However, if you are one out of say 100 people seeding a 100MB file, it's likely that whomever would request the file would only get 1MB from each individual seeder.

Is this maybe your issue?
