ever since i upgraded to deluge 5.9.0, the download speed has just nosedived.
with 79 seeds in the past, i'd expect download speeds of at least 90-150kb/s.
it's not as if my ISP is throttling because if i use azureus I get the good speeds - but i tend to prefer deluge as you can merge tracker lists.
i don't want to use utorrent under wine because i prefer native linux apps.
so anything i can check or try to improve things ?
79 seeds, 200 peers and only 2.0kb/s download speed?

i assume this isn't considered a problem then?

try downgrading to the old version that "works". Download the same torrent. If the speed does prove to be as slow then it's not deluge's fault. As of now, your post here is just too vague and not much information for anyone to try to help. If the speed is really better in "oldversion" compared to 0.5.9 then probably something is not right in 0.5.9.
