Hi, I'm up to nearly 1200 torrents seeding at the moment. Has anyone experienced a practical limit on the number of torrenets that deluge will seed?

I have not reached a limit yet.

Efforts were made for Deluge to handle several thousand torrents without significant impact. The Web UI has limitations and would likely not be able to handle more than a few hundred

Thanks. The linux thin client seems to be more performant than the windows client, in my experience. They both handle 1200 torrents OK.

is the answer the same almost in 2025 ?

I love deluge, but I'm gonna have thousands of torrents seeding and I do not want to run in issues in the future.
People suggest to use qbittorrent, so deluge can handle this load in the web ui ?

qBittorrent's WebUI and Deluge's WebUI are pretty much the same for me as far as their capabilities to display torrents in large numbers, the larger you get the more time i can take to populate.

The qBittorrent crowd always loves to try and make you switch, that's just what they do. Their WebUI does not handle large torrent counts much differently than Deluge does in my experience, but the Thin Client absolutely puts qBittorrent's webui to shame (and deluge's webui as well, but that's not really the point)

Thin client is awesome.
