Backing up /home/locutus/.config/deluge/

I'm going to be reinstalling my OS and would like to know if I can just save the Deluge folder at /home/locutus/.config/deluge/ and just overwrite the new folder with the backup once I have Deluge installed again, or if there are specific items that should only be backed up?

I know it's been a good while since the last post but I just ran into an issue. I have been saving the .config/Deluge folder and replacing it as needed, but yesterday I reinstalled CachyOS (Arch based) and everytime I replaced the folder Deluge would not start. Is there anything I can check to see what might cause this behavior?

You do have to keep in mind is that the /home/locutus/.config/deluge/ could just be your config folder. So there would all your config files be. Maybe your downloads and torrent files could be located somewhere else. Just like your state files, to see the state of your torrents and also a copy of your current running torrents.

When i reinstall my OS (i only use Linux currently Fedora), then my homefolder is separate from the /. That way i have less worry that i have to setup everything again.

This must be the day for dumb luck, cause I just went back into Cachy and tried for like the 10th time and this time after replacing the folder Deluge launched with all my settings, and torrents with the correct dates they were added. Odd, very odd but I'll take it.
