I am unable to connect to FreeNode now, I get a message "[You must use TLS/SSL and authenticate via SASL to connect to freenode please visit https://irc.com/login/sso in order to create an account. SASL Configuration: https://freenode.net/kb/answer/sasl - Webchat: https://webchat.freenode.net/]"

Is this considered a new "feature" rather than a problem? Will the FreeNode IRC channel be moving to a more hospitable IRC service? Or do we have to join (and maybe pay for?) some add-in service in order to access the IRC channel?

Although I am not on IRC much these days, I did create an official #deluge libera chat channel to replace freenode however I did not get around to officially announcing that...

It should be put all over the web site too, replacing the references to freenode.
