Hello all,

I started having issues with downloads and I'm using NordVPN. I found the settings that need to be applied on Nord's site but it can't be done because Deluge does NOT have that setting. It's about SOCKSv5 w/ Auth. The only type close to that is v6. Nord also has a port mentioned for v5 at the end of those steps which can't be followed.

What am I missing?

What version of Deluge are you running?

1.3.15.

I don't understand what you mean with not finding socks5 w/auth type in proxy settings, and I don't remember ever seeing a v6 option, and no socks6 spec exist either, so I'm not sure where you're looking, but here's a pic illustrating, but just change to nordvpn proxy-address and user/pass and port is same.

Btw, I'd recommend using ltconfig 3'rd party plugin to also enable force_proxy and anonymous_mode, like deluge2 added options for in there proxy settings, to secure the integrity of the connection(hide IP always).

Lol, no wonder you're confused! The translator apparently screwed up, and it should state v5 and not 6

Well, it still doesn't work. Not sure if changing the host will help. But thanks for clearing that up.

You're welcome, but sorry to hear it. Double check user/pass and try different socks servers as I saw many available. Try also restart app a few times afterwards. Should work.
