Pre-allocation disable but still pre-allocating

I'm using LSIO's latest deluge image (2.0.3) and I have pre-allocation disabled (unchecked) in the settings. I only have a 250GB SSD as my intermediate folder for downloads and I recently had gone out of disk space because I had around 5 x 50GB downloads in deluge and they all had pre-allocated space (full size of the mkv's) when I checked the files through the SMB protocol! Why is deluge still pre-allocating when I tell it not to do so?

Did you test if a deluge restart would be needed?

Yes, already did. Question regarding the size of the file though. I see in Windows (thru smb) that the files being downloaded have a full "size" but a smaller "size on disk" value. Does that mean that pre-allocating is indeed working because the size on the disk itself is smaller?
