deluge-gtk freezes on startup (after Cinnamon update to 4.8.3)

Ever since Cinnamon was updated to 4.8.3, deluge-gtk started getting frozen upon startup. Whether called by a torrent to download or I start it up manually, it's always frozen down to tray. The only way to fix this is to kill the process (Ctrl+K) and then run deluge-gtk again.

[rado@arch]: ~>$ deluge-gtk --version
deluge-gtk 2.0.4.dev38
libtorrent: 1.2.10.0
Python: 3.9.1
OS: Linux Arch Linux rolling

I found a way to fix that by installing the package deluge-gtk-graceful-kill from AUR. I think it should be included in the dependencies list bc this package seems to be the only way to close Deluge normally. Otherwise, after quitting the program, its process keeps running which must be the cause for the freezing.
