Connect thin client to deamon under Deluge V2 and nginx reverse proxy

Hello everyone, to be short I have the delugeVPN container running on a ubuntu 19.04 computer, and I use 7z-sfx installer to have deluge v2 on Windows.
I did a reverse proxy of deluge to have my Web Interface under https://www.mydomain/deluge and now that I have Deluge V2 on my windows computer that is not on the same network as my server, I want to connect the thin client to the deamon. But here is the deal, I can't do it like I would do on my local Network. When I try to configure the Host using "https://www.mydomain/" I get a "('Host %s: %s', 'https:// http://www.mydomain/deluge', 'getaddrinfo failed')"
I also tried it using the IP adress of my server for the hostname but it don't work, i'm probably doing something wrong, or you maybe can't connect distant servers on the thinclient, I don't really know, but if you could help me it would be very nice, thank you
