I can download single torrents with lots of peers at over 100MB/s. However, when I go up to 100 downloads and set my maximum connections to 500, I peek at 50MB/s.. does anyone have any suggestions for max download number / max connection number to still get top speeds but allow the most downloads / connections? I have tried some combiniations but no luck.

I also have a large download queue in deluge as well. This seems to be affecting my download speeds, which doesnt make any sense.

Could be the number of connections overloading your router (I face it myself). Limiting the number of simultaneous download is an option for you? A queue will be generated and you can still add as many torrents as you want but only the authorized concurrent d/l will be active
(This is possible in the preferences)
