Let Deluge auto-switch torrent downloads?

Assume I have added 20 (big) Torrents to Deluge and allowed 8 active downloads.

Then 8 out of theses 20 downloads got the status "downloading".

Since the seeders are rarely present it could take a while (days) to download the full files.

Surprisingly the torrents in the 8 download slots seem not to change.

When I have a look in the morning at the 8 downloading torrents, then they are excatly the same as in the evening before.

Do I have to tell Deluge with an option to automatically try other torrents after some time?

Deluge uses a queue system. It downloads torrents in the order they are added to the download queue. You can manually move torrents up and down, but they default to the order in which you added them.

What you probably want to try is check under Preferences -> Queue for a checkbox for "Do not count slow torrents".
