I am currently using transmission + VPN by binding to the VPN interface. Deluge has a similar option in --interface, but I am unsure if all traffic is routed through it. Can someone just confirm for me that all traffic will be routed through the vpn using the --interface option and is therefore "safe".

The deluge wiki says to setup iptables to route traffic through a vpn, is that really required when we have the --interface option?
