Deluge stops browser traffic

Post by Newguy025 »

Hello everyone,

I have a strange issue with Deluge (1.3.12/xp), and that is that after about 1/2 minutes after a torrent starts to download the browser will not connect to anything. Tried it witout firewall/AV, same issue.
At first it does not load the page, then it does not even attempt to load it. Tried with FF and IE. It does not matter if there is one or multiple active downloads (in deluge), tried messing around with limiters, encryption, ports, even happens at low speed 500 kps).

If I try to ping web addresses from CMD, I get back results.
Not sure what the issue is.

Could be your router's NAT mapping memory getting filled up. Does the issue clear itself if you let it sit for a bit? You could try disabling DHT and see if that helps. If you have no issues with the router removed and the PC directly to the modem it is the router choking. You can try a firmware update or an open source firmware like DD-WRT and see if that helps.
