Cross Subnet - Local Peer Discovery

I have two sites that each a have an ADSL internet connection but are also linked together via a high speed wireless link.
Site #1 10.0.1.1/24
Site #2 10.0.2.1/24
How can I get the "Local Peer Discovery" to work between the two subnets?
I understand that the client uses multicast UDP messages on 239.192.152.143:6771 to do this.
Is there another way to do this?
