Port Forwarding with Private Internet Access

I use Private Internet Access as a VPN.
When I was using uTorrent (older version without ads), I would get a port from PIA and enter that into the incoming connections box. It worked fine. I was able to receive incoming connections.
I switched to Deluge on my PC and did the same thing, however, deluge wouldn't accept incoming connections.
Now, I'm setting up a seedbox on ArchLinux. I have a script that uses the PIA API to get a port number. The script then updates deluged via deluge-console --set. All of these functions work properly as I can see the updates in the deluge-web interface.
However, none of my torrents are accepting incoming connections. Either deluge doesn't know how to listen to incoming ports, or deluge doesn't know how to use PIA's forwarded ports. Any advice?
