Daemon offline?

I moved my VPN to a new node on the service I use.
Everything transferred great, but now the Daemon is offline. It does not allow my to go online. I tried deleting a starting a new one, but got an error in command that there is already a daemon in use.
I do not know very much about command line, so bear with me.
Any help greatly appreciated. I am using a VPN and Deluge as a seedbox
