Since installing Deluge 1.3.11 I'm having trouble with the slowness of response of the program - It's driving me crazy!!

I'm not talking about downloads - once added they are fine. It's the Deluge program itself. If I click on a torrent name, say, it might take 20 to 30 seconds to respond. It's the same for any action with the program.

I've tried to find a pattern - eg If there is a heavy volume of downloads - but this has been singularly unsuccessful. Mostly it is slow in responding, sometimes not, and its unpredictable.

I've checked CPU loadings and again it happens whether or not the CPU is heavily engaged.

I'm running Win7 Ultimate 32 bit on Intel Dual core 2.93GH with 4GB RAM

I'm not having any suggestion of load problems elsewhere.

Any advice?

I am having the same issue. 1.3.11, win 7 ultimate 64 bit, i5-2500k.

It starts up fine but soon after starting up it becomes unresponsive for 10-20 secs. Even switching between windows it will freeze up.

so do we report this as a bug ?

Try removing any torrents from your list that uses open trackers. I noticed that if I keep only private tracker torrents seeding everything is OK, but as soon as I add something from open trackers, let's kickass, the UI starts to freeze up.
