Is their a light at the end of the tunnell?? It's been 6 months since I have been plagued by this Visual C+++ problem. I am getting 10 crashes a day now running Deluge 0.5.8.6 on WinXP. Will this problem ever be solved?

Well...It might help if you were running a version that wasn't...oh...a month and a half and 3 versions out of date...Also, i think the bug you're having was fixed already, so try a new version, and if it still crashes like hell, then you might have a right to complain, and you still really don't as it Free, Open-source software

You are right. Considering the cost I have no right to complain,but Deluge (when it's working) is the only Bit Torrent Client that seems to be able to get around my ISP's throttling and I get frustrated when it's not woring? 0.5.8.9 crased 8 times today and all for the same reason (Runtime).
I can't remember the last version that worked for me but it was at least 6 months ago. Is their any way I could access an older version of Deluge?

I'm sorry to bother you again but I got into a bit of a problem when I downloaded 0.5.8.1 and tried to install it with 0.5.8.9 still on my computer. I got the message

"error opening file for writing
C:\program Files\Deluge\libexpat.dll

I have since un installed both versions and deleted the Deluge folder in C:\Program Files. I re installed 0.5.8.1 The installation seemed to be going okay but the program refuses to open. I have double clicked the ,exe file but nothing happens.

Any ideas on what I can do to get Deluge running again??

Make sure when you install the dbus-daemon-deluge.exe isn't running.
