Deluge keeps creating a subdirectory with _ in it

Hi,
I have a torrent that contains files fish/file1.bin, fish/file2.bin, fish/file3.bin.
I already have the files (downloaded externally) and wanted to seed it.
When I added the torrent I tried just setting the download directory to the location of the existing files in the hopes that it would just 'work'. However, instead it started downloading the files to fish/_/file1.bin, fish/_/file2.bin etc.
That is fair enough. With other torrents I've now been able to add the torrent in another location, pausing it, then moving the downloaded files into place and force a re-check.
However for this original torrent, every time I add the torrent file, it insists on downloading to fish/_/file1.bin.
Presumably some internal state has remembered that it had to re-map this in the past? Is there a way I can stop it from doing this?
