Automatic file-splitting

Is there currently a way (plugin or config) to automatically split files larger than a given size? (eg. 4gb for fat32)
It seems like it would be a rather easy plugin to make (assuming Deluge API can support it) so I might have to look into making it myself if it doesn't currently exist unless someone else can make it relatively quickly.
Unfortunately Python is a language I do not *currently* know, although have been planning to learn for years, so maybe it's time to finally learn python.
