Cannot find error details

Hello
I'm using deluge on my Xubuntu machine, using the client-server model, not classic.
I attempt to add torrents, and they immediately go into the error state, however nowhere can I find any actual error messages.
I have tried running it with but it prints nothing
I have looked in /var/log/deluged/daemon.log, and it just fills up with INFO messages, so it has no problems actually writing to the logs.
How can I get to my error message?
