Another permission denied error on a headless 12.04

Hi All

I am trying to set up Deluge on my headless server running Ubuntu 12.04.

I have followed the installation instructions, and the thin client setup as stipulated in the wiki.
Deluged is running under it's own system user (deluge) and I am able to connect to it via a web client or a gtk client installed on another machine.
I am able to add and download torrents.

The problem is when I want to download to another location.
I want deluge to autoadd torrents and download them to SAMBA shares that are mounted on the server.
I get a permission denied error when I add the torrent manually, and if I place a torrent in the directory that deluge watches for autoadd it does nothing. The logs reveal a similar problem wrt to the autoadd feature.

These shares are mounted with a permission mask of 0777 for both files and directories. I am able to access the mounted shares without problem from my regular user account through ssh.

Does anyone have an idea what's wrong? As mentioned I am able to download torrents regularly, provided it is downloading to a mounted physical drive. The permissions on that drive is also set to 777.

Thanks in advance!

It's a permission issue so you have missed something, there is nothing Deluge can do to solve this.
