Unable to add torrents with non roman characters

As the title says, If I add a torrent with roman characters at the start of the name, a popup box will open prompting me for download directory and other information, and flashes on the taskbar.
When I add a torrent with non roman characters at the beginning of the name, the taskbar will flash, but thats it.
