Peer connects, but upload does not start

Hello, I am using deluge 1.3.3 on raspbmc, libtorrent version 0.15.10. My problem is that a peer connects to download a torrent from me, but the upload actually never starts, just a few Kb is sent by me (probably just some metadata) and then the peer disconnects. After about a minute he connects again and the whole process repeats. I set the logging to debug to see what is the reason for the peer to disconnect, but I did not find any relevant info in the logs.

Can someone advise where to find the reason for why the peer keeps disconnecting?

I can relate to this, peers connects and data is uploaded but at a very lower rate when compared to others clients.
Its true sometimes peer connects and slowly sends data, but its only a couple of peers ( out of 20 available slots) in a couple of torrents( out of 8 for upload) that gets connected.
I've configured and tweaked around the connection settings, such as ports, limits, and whatever. It didn't make a difference.

same here. only few KB/s. Disabled Rate Limit IP Overhead seems helps a bit, but up speed never touches the limit like other clients that i'm using. Upload speed seems like only able reach highest 30% of the specified limit. However, once the download is completed and start seeding, speed will gone up to max limit like it should have been.

In my case, peers would barely connect after download, even with no downloads at all.
But one of devs replied to my thread and suggested for me to open a range of ports for deluge, this helped.
So it seems as a restriction on the connections per port.
