No UDP with Socks5 proxy

Post by archonaut »

Hi all,

Code: Select all

deluge: 1.3.6
libtorrent: 0.16.12.0
Linux rpi 3.6.11-18-ARCH+ #1 armv6l
using web ui on headless Raspberry Pi 512mb
although BTGuard anounces on their site that theres a problem with their service and deluge using libtorrent 0.16.xx, i found out that the proxy/UDP problem seemed to be fixed by the Libtorrent devs with a patch for 0.16.10 and then in the new release 0.16.11 etc.
But even with libtorrent-rasterbar 0.16.12 it seems that i have the same problem, dluge works fine with socks5 proxy with auth on torrents with http trackers, but no chance on UDP trackers.

i tested udp tracker torrents without proxy to verify my ports etc are ok. Anybody ideas on this ?
btw: the service checkmytorrentip does NOT reflect the usage of UDP right ! its always shown at "udp no" , even if its on.

a debug log shows no errors or warnings about udp. it even doesnt mention adding the torrent at all.thank you guys (-:

edit:
when i add the same (UDP)torrent as a magnetURL, deluge debug does show it as INFO : json_api:767 Adding torrent from magnet uri but again nothing happens.
