I am encountering a problem whereas unable to connect to udp trackers using socks5 proxy and was told it was fixed in libtorrent 0.16.11. I found a ppa that had this updated version, but when I updated it, I wasn't able to connect the client to deluged. So in the meantime I just downgraded back to 0.16.7 Is 3.6.0 compatable with 0.16.11, and if so is it possible to upgrade without rebuilding 3.6? Can anyone help with this?

Thanks.

Likely there was no python bindings in the PPA, you only need to build libtorrent from source: http://forum.deluge-torrent.org/viewtop ... 27#p173249

So I built it successfully with the instructions, but still deluge does not start with 0.16.11. I tried running on command line with deluged, but nothing starts.

It seems to be working for me now. I removed it an reinstalled it. Not sure what was wrong.
Thanks.
