99% complete torrent doesn't end, repeatedly

Hello,
My first torrent tried in Deluge. Got to 99% complete and I'm watching the last few secs countdown to 3, 2, 1.
But then says "infinity" briefly and resets to about a minute, and repeats over and over.
Finally after about 6-10 times it ends and moves to bottom of list.
Is there some reason for this weird behaviour? Or is it a known bug?
Thanks,
Chris

I believe theres nothing strange about that behavior... it is just what happens when it gets to the very end of a file, there is a greater chance that theres less people that have that last piece you need to complete your download. It could also be that there were hash fails in those last few chunks... check the log if it is enabled to show hash errors it would likely be in there. And also to keep in mind the program can only estimate how long it's expected to finish based on the current speed and remaining size.

I have had a similar experience.
A torrent will seem to stick to get to 99% done and get stuck, stop downloading even with many seeders.
Then when I manually force a recheck - it will determine it's complete and start seeding.
It maybe related to some of the other issues seen with restarting deluge reading in the fast resume data. I've had a number of crashes and have built a couple of different versions of deluge from the svn sources - so not exactly a pristine environment to test in.

yes it's another reintroduced bug that occasionally happens. i don't have it often but it's happened at least 2-3 times in the last week or so.
