Deluge problem with bakabt.me tracker

Hi all, I've started using a public tracker called bakabt.me (I'm sure some of you might know it) but I'm getting a timeout error. Here goes the full description of the problem
I've downloaded 3 torrents and loaded them to Deluge 1.3.6, but I keep on having a "Connection timeout" error. After searching in the forum I've discarted most of the problems.
- My ISP is not throttling and it's not a problem of port forwarding or router configuration as I can download perfectly the torrents from other sites (TPB, KAT, h33t...) and ping and traceroute their trackers.
- The problem may be in the configuration of deluge as I can download it from vuze.
The weird thing is that I can ping the tracker address, but if I traceroute it, it gives more than 220 hops (so I guess it doesn't reach the network and even so vuze manage to start downloading)
I love deluge, It's been my first torrent client for linux and I've already have lot of labels, written scripts for the completed torrents, set up rss... etc, so I would really want to fix it inside deluge (also for the earn of knowledge and solve the problem to future people that might get the same trouble) and not have to move to vuze.
So any idea?
Thanks
