I lost my connections of files to Deluge for uploading

I had to run a disk check on my PC (Windows 7). When I next opened Delute (1.3.6) all the files that I had downloaded and had been seeding for others were gone. The files are still on my hard drive. When I tried to add a folder, the error message "Not a valid bencoded string" appears. I don't know how to somehow connect the files back with Deluge so I can seed them again. I have a pretty good share ratio and I want to add to it. Any help appreciated.
