Update Libtorrent without Root

Is there anyway i can build a custom deluge instance with libtorrent 0.16.10 on a shared slot ?
I don't have root permissions, would be possible even if necessary changing some code of deluge?

As long as the libtorrent python bindings are in the python path Deluge should pick it up.

You can also build libtorrent from the Deluge setup script and it will install it in the Deluge installation.
