Problems connecting to headless server

Hey all,

I am currently running Deluge on Debian. I am trying to connect to it on my main Win 7 machine.

I followed the tutorials in the Support page but still am having problems. I can connect to my Debian Deluge on the Win 7 machine but I can not access the "Preferences" or see the status on torrents that I add.

I installed deluged and deluge-console, did the correct auth file

Code: Select all

echo "bob:123456:10" >> ~/.config/deluge/auth
I am really stumped with this as I can connect to my machine, I just can not view anything on it. Sorry if anything is unclear - I am still quite green to Debian/Deluge.

Any info I can provide that may help please let me know.

Thanks all.

Have tried reformatting and still the exact same problem. It is so bizarre.

The Web UI works fine and I can connect to my headless server but still, I can not view the "States" of any of my downloads (even though it is actually downloading) and I can not click on the Preferences tab at all.

This problem is extremely frustrating. I had no problems getting this to work with Ubuntu and Ubuntu server but it just does not want to work on Debian.
