Deluge
I'm trying to create a torrent of an album I made with my friends so that we can distribute it amongst all of our friends. I've been trying to get it to work for a few weeks. I originally created the .torrent on a Windows PC running Deluge 1.3.5. I put the .torrent onto a USB flash drive and opened it with Transmission 2.76 on my MacBook pro and despite the original PC's claim that it was seeding, Transmission never leeched. I figured I might as well give the OS X version of Deluge 1.3.5, and it worked. I'm totally new to this, this is the first time I've successfully (if you can call it that) created my own torrent file and leeched it. I've only recently become interested in how the BitTorrent protocol works, so I don't have much knowledge of any basic Dos and Don'ts of these kinds of things. I'd like to be able to get this to work without needing the downloader to use Deluge, as we'd like as many people to have access to our music as possible.
