Deluge not working on MacBook Pro

I'm new to deluge. I've downloaded multiple versions. They all say they're not compatible with my MacBook. I'm using a 2008 MacBook Pro. All updated. Not sure what OS I'm running ie snow leopard. Any help is appreciated.

Can you be more specific about what you downloaded and tried installing.

I have tried installing from the download page on the deluge site. Download packages 1.3.5-1 x64.tbz2. Whatever link is on the download page. Have also tried the downloads for older Macs. They download fine, just says it can't be ran on my version of Mac OS X. Right now I'm running Utorrent with btguard.

Only you know which version of OS X is running on your Macbook so you need to tell us. You also need to determine if it is 64-bit or not.

Version is OSX 10.5.8. Not sure on how to determine if it's a 64 bit.

Hiya,
Helping a friend to install it, she has:
- mac OS X version 10.5.8
- 2GHz Intel Core 2 duo
She told me she had this error message
impossible d'ouvrir cette version de l'application Deluge avec cette version de Mac OS X
... with both

Any clues of what else to check ?
Seems
Transmission didn't succeed to install either.

The reason is will not work is that the info.plist specifies 10.6 minimum but I think you should be able to try it if you change the value to 10.5. This is untested so may/may not work but would be interesting to know the result.
In
Deluge.app/Contents/Info.plist:
Code: Select all
<key>LSMinimumSystemVersion</key>
<string>10.6</string>
Also use the latest 1.3.6 version in

I am also having the same issue, however I can't seem to find the .36 install, all I can see is the .35
any help would be appreciated
