Deluged webui buttons grayed out and "Not connected"

I've finnally managed to install everything without getting any errors but now the client just wont work. When i click on connection manager it says that its online but at the bottom on the page it says "Not connected" and i cant press on any of the buttons (except preferences and connection manager).

Its a clean install on ubuntu with apt-get and i start it by writing
deluged
deluge-web

its my understanding that this is correct.

Is it anything else i need to do?

What Deluge version? Can you try with a clean config and/or enable logging and check for errors.

Haha I solved it, i didnt notice the connect button i thought u just had to start the daemon. Sorry for this meaningless thread.

Edit: Another thing though, isn't it possible to add magnet links? I cant see anywhere which version im running but the lastest one from apt-get (without adding Deluge PPA)
