GTK Not Connecting To Remote Daemon

Hi,

I run WinXP SP3. I'm unable to connect to my seed box provider's remote Daemon. We're both on Deluge 1.33. I have triple checked the setup instructions on my end.

I should say that I am able to connect. The green circle is there. But no matter how long I wait my preferences aren't coming across. And the active torrent that shows in the Deluge never show locally.

I've had no trouble using thin client with Deluge 1.3.2 with another provider.

I removed 1.32 with Revo Uninstaller, ran a registry cleaner and manually removed leftover files prior to installing 1.33. I've repeated the same process with 1.33 and reinstalled it, to no effect.

Any ideas?

Thanks very much for your help.

Did you remove your user config files?

Users have reported similar issues before about green icon but unable to connect and has been attributed to firewall issues. There is not a lot from Deluge point of view to suggest, there is very little difference between 1.3.2 and 1.3.3.

Thanks very much for your reply. I'll dig into my firewall. However, I've used 1.32 and 1.33 with the same firewall installed. But it's only the 1.33 GTK that I've had trouble with.

Cheers.

I manually configured my firewall to allow every Deluge executable without restriction. No effect whatsoever.
