importing settings, stats and torrents from utorrent

i've gotten sick of utorrent's increasingly bloated dev path and so i want to move to deluge (which before utorrent went down the toilet would have definitely been my second choice for torrent client). however, before i make the move, i'm wondering: is there a way to port all my stats/settings/job list from utorrent into deluge? i saw this but it doesn't seem to be getting anywhere. i don't need a program to do it for me; if the process involves manual examination and editing of some .dat files that's more than reasonable.
