Hello together,

is there some tutorial on how to configure Deluge best (No. of Connection attempts per sec. etc)? I have been sent to Russia for business and it seems that the router cannot handle some settings or the ISP is restricting traffic.

What happens is that the download goes down to 0 on a regular basis or only is between 20-40 on an unlimited setting. I have a DSL 3000 connection wherefore it should work fine. In addition web-browsing becomes extremely slow when the Client is running.

So does anyone have a link to a tutorial or some helpfull hints?

Help->Run Configuration Wizard
will help you set up deluge with the optimum settings.
make sure you give it open ports and a correct upload rate.

thanks for the hint. I have done this and it helped. Nevertheless I am a detail freak (and Moscow for foreigner in winter is rather boring) and would like to at least understand the configuration settings a little bit more.

So question is if there are any website where I can find more details about the configuration?

not really....mostly because there is no "right" answer. every isp, and even every cable model and wireless router handle things differently and have different capabilities. there are so many variables when you consider a world audience that it's really impossible to tell users what their optimun settings would be. it's a trial and error thing...more of an art than a science. play around and keep mental notes.
