Deluge randomly hangs my connection

This happens in Ubuntu 11.04. Everything worked fine in 10.10
I tried version 1.3.3 and 1.3.1 but there is no difference.
When I open Deluge, torrents start downloading normally and after a while my connection simply stops working and I have to reconnect again. Closing Deluge does not help.
Is there anything I can do? should I try with another torrent application?
Notice that my router never hangs, it keeps working because i have another computer using internet at the same time this happens!

Thanks.

What version of libtorrent are you using and how many connections in bandwidth settings?

The fact that closing and reopening deluge doesn't change things means the problem does not lie with deluge.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say its your wifi drivers.
Since you neglected to provide adequate info we'll simply have to guess.

I think I've got exactly same problem using Linux Mint 11. I guess you're connected to your router using wireless. Whenever I use deluge I get sudden disconections whithout notice, network manager says I'm still connected but traffic drops to 0 and nothing related to internet work on the computer, but router is responsive, and closing & restarting wifi connection resumes normal internet behaviour for a while.
My guess after looking at router log is that someone is looking for p2p traffic and whenever they find a port and ip downloading for a while start bombing the router and they know how to freeze wifi. If i don't use deluge wifi connections works perfectly.
I've noticed using random ports and forcing encripted traffic helps getting more time between hangs. I guess getting a new IP on the router would hep too.
Maybe a different wifi driver can help too, I'll try. Mi card is an Atheros AR9285.
So I don't think it is a specifical deluge fail.
