[Plugin] External IP For Status Tab

Hi,
I hope this would not be a difficult request to ask, but do you think in a next version the Status tab could show a section called
IP: so that you can see your IP address when you are connected?
I use proxy and vpn when using Deluge and sometimes it can be easy to make mistake thinking your proxy and vpn connection is working, so it would be nice to be able to simply look at the Status tab where you can check the IP to make sure everything is ok and you see the IP you want to be using...
I hope the developers can please make this, I would really love to have this feature...
If not please let me know I would even be willing to make a small donation...

Entirely possible to include in Deluge but in the meantime someone could easily create a plugin that would do this.

Ahh so the source and then two versions...
By the way I installed the 2.7.egg but where do I see this? I don't see anything?

You need to download the egg that matches your installed python version.

I redited my reply, I installed 2.7 and enabled it, but I don't see anything, where do I look for this?

I created this plugin very quickly so no webui page. If I get a chance I will update it though.

I'm running windows 7 with the thinclient connected to an Ubuntu machine, I tried installing this plugin on the windows 7 maching and the ubuntu machine, but it only shows up on the ubuntu's GUI. Is there any way to see the external IP, with thinclient inside of windows 7, of my ubuntu machine using a VPN?
