Auto Add Watch Folder - Path Does Not Exist

I'm completely new to both Deluge and Ubuntu but so far I have been able to setup Flexget to download torrents from an RSS feed to my folder '~/Downloads/torrents' or '/home/user/Downloads/torrents' (same thing, right?)
I thought that would be the hard part but I can't seem to get Deluge to watch that folder.

I'm using Deluge 1.3.3 and Auto Add 1.02. I do have Auto Add enabled.
I'm using Deluge to hook up to my seedbox. In that seedbox I have a directory '/home/meltedbutter420/watch'. That watch folder is working perfectly fine.
When I try to 'add' another watch folder in the Auto Add tab and type in /home/user/Downloads/torrents/ I get 'Auto Add Error - Path does not exist'

Now I assume the problem lies in that I'm hooked up to the seedbox and not my own harddrive. In the Connection Manager, I am not hooked up to any local host, only the seedbox. I remember deleting the local host when originally setting it up.

Again, I'm completely new to both Deluge and Ubuntu and would appreciate any help. I tried to give you as much information as needed to answer my question but let me know if I left out any important details.
