I got deluge 1.3.1 installed on Gentoo amd64 box. And recently after python update to 2.7 ver it stopped working. Actually deluge starting and gives such error

Anyway i can skip it by disabling "Classic mode", but when deluge starts it shows daemon connection dialog and i'm trying to start it from there, but nothing happened. Moreover i can't add new torrents because navigation buttons not active, also settings window almost without active buttons.

Deluge works fine with python 2.7.

Your problem is that either libtorrent isn't installed or deluge can't seem to find it.

You probably didn't run the python-updater or didn't re-emerge libtorrent against the new python version.
