Does Deluge write your IP address into the tracker?

I was reading an article called 'bittorrent over Tor isn't a good idea'. This part was of interest to me, it said;
'The attack is actually worse than that: apparently in some cases uTorrent, BitSpirit, and libTorrent simply write your IP address directly into the information they send to the tracker and/or to other peers. '
My question is does Deluge write your IP address into the tracker like the bittorrent clients in the article? I don't use Tor for peer connections but I do for the tracker. Oh and much appreciation for great, free open source software.

There are two libtorrents so it depends which one they are talking about. The fact it has a capital T suggests libTorrent (rakshasa) whereas Deluge uses libtorrent (rasterbar)
