[Solved] UI not showing details from remote daemon

I'm running deluged on an Ubuntu Server 10.04 machine, and connecting to it with the Deluge UI from various Windows machines.

I've had no trouble getting deluged running, or connecting the UI to it, but am now facing an interesting issue - the UI won't list the torrents on the daemon. The left pane shows the correct number of downloading/seeding torrents, so I suspect the connection is fine, but the right pane is just blank. I can add torrents successfully from the UI.



Connecting to the daemon via deluge-console on the daemon machine or the web UI from anywhere shows torrents just fine.

Searching the forum hasn't come up with anything pertinent, but it's a bit hard to pick keywords for this.

Any insight is appreciated.

What versions of deluge are on the server and desktop machine?

Can you test the gui from another computer or maybe a linux vm on your windows machine?

Aha, I'd picked up deluged from the default repos, so I was running deluged 1.2.x with a 1.3.x client on Windows. I knew it'd be something silly like that. I added the deluge PPA, and upgraded, and it's all working now. Cheers!
