Http Error 400 - Bad Request: Invalid Port

Hi Guys
I think it may be best to start a new thread, rather than hijack someone Else's.
I am new to Linux and Deluge, so please be patient.
I have recently installed Ubunto server 10.04 as a headless server with Deluge as my bit torrent client.
I used the following command to install deluge.(it was recommended to me)
sudo apt-get install deluge deluged deluge-torrent deluge-webui deluge-common deluge-gtk deluge-web deluge-console
I then updated the source list and upgraded it to 1.3.1
Now I found that internet explorer will not open http://<servername>:8112. I had to use Firefox for the web page to show up.
When the connect to shows up, I have removed the local connection to 127.0.0.1. I have entered the IP for the server and it connects okay.
In the preferences I try and change the port that it is using, but it never seems to apply.
I have setup the scripts to run the daemon according to his page: http://dev.deluge-torrent.org/wiki/User ... ipt/Ubuntu.
I have the autoadd plugin and no other plugin.
I have changed the ports various times and it never seems to apply.
I then resort to editing the /home/<user>/.config/deluge/core.conf file, to try and update the settings.
At the moment I have been advised by the tracker support staff to try and use port 9999.
I connect to two trackers mainly and both of them come up with the same error.
Http Error 400 - Bad Request: Invalid Port
Any help would be appreciated.
