Memory leak in 1.3

I'm using 1.3.0 on Ubuntu 10.10 and Ive been noticing lately huge memory leaks. Deluge has been using up to 500mb (according to Gnome System Monitor) on a regular basis making my computer pretty slow. Today I tried running just the daemon and then using Firefox to keep an eye on it and I still got huge slowdown. When I checked the usage again this time it was over 600mb for a freakin' daemon! And it was also using 70% of my CPU (which is normally a lot lower). Whats going on here?

What version of libtorrent? There's a known bug with 0.15.3.

I'm not sure if that's what I had before but Deluge seems fine now and I have 0.15.4 so maybe thats why

sorry for re-opening this thread but i have the same memory problem.
- ubuntu 10.10 (x64)
- deluge 1.3.0
- libtorrent 0.15.4.0
i have a total of 4gb ram in my notebook and top said the last time that deluge is using over 60% of it?!
when i start deluge it's using just a few percent like some other programs.
but the longer deluge is running the more memory it consumes.
it doesn't seem to affect any other programs as far as i noticed yet.
but in my opinion that behaviour isn't normal or is it?
thanks!

so i updated to version 1.3.1 but it's still consuming more and more ram :/
second thing i noticed is heavy cpu load when rightclicking a torrent and choosing "open folder".
after that deluge seems to be hung up and i have to kill the process.
because it seems to work for most users without problems - what can be wrong here?

I have the same setup but never see that kind of problem. How many torrent do you have and have you tried reinstalling?
The cpu usage is a known problem, see ticket

purged deluge and reinstalled it but with no success.
still same behaviour.
deluge is now running about 14 hours and using 40% memory. :/

[DEBUG ] 21:57:02 torrentmanager:948 on_alert_save_resume_data
[DEBUG ] 21:57:02 torrentmanager:685 Opening torrents fastresume file for load.
could this cause the memory leak?
