Multi-Boot Operation

Hi,
I use Deluge on a machine with a seperate drive for torrent use which is shared on my network.
I also use different linux distros on that machine for different tasks.
I was wondering if it is possible to install Deluge on each distro and save the config files maybe on the torrent drive so that when I reboot into a different distro, I can run Deluge and carry on with the downloads / uploads as if I was still in the original OS.
Would I possibly have to force Deluge itself to install on the torrent drive and if so, how could I do that?
I know that it checks each torrent to find it's progress each time you start it si don't think that would be a problem butwhat about those which I have paused etc.
Many thanks for any input,
Mike

You would install deluge normally but specify the config folder with -c (and have the config folder on the separate drive).
