Huge speed drop at the end of a download

I observed that at the end of a file (e.g. few kB remaining) the download speed falls to ridiculous levels (1 to 5KBps) and sometimes it just stops.
This is not only because of the rareness of the last blocs since I observed this on private trackers where the normal speed is very high (5-8MBps) with a lot of seeders (100+).

It almost always happens but sometimes the speed don't fall "fast enough" to prevent the download to complete, and sometimes it takes a few minutes to do 99.95% and 30 minutes to complete the last 0.05% !

What can be done to prevent this to happen ? Is it a problem with libtorrent ?

Sorry,

I use Deluge version 1.2.3 (libtorrent 0.14.10.0), running on a dedicated headless server (symmetric 100mbps connexion).
Deluge is installed from the deluge PPA repository.

The server is ruining Ubuntu Server 9.10 with an EXT4 partition.
I mostly use deluge with the GTK client.

I have exactly the same problem. Deluge v1.2.3 & libtorrent 0.14.10.0 in a 1Gbit/1Gbit server with Debian Lenny v5.0 x64 (Kernel 2.6.26-2-amd64) What can i do?? When i´m downloading i can see +30MB/s speeds in both ways, but when i finish the download and start to seed i cant reach the 300KB/s in the same torrent having a lot of leechers... I want to have deluge running because Wine+uTorrent are a crap. I don´t have problems to download from 99% to 100% but can´t seed nothing after complete the torrent!

I will do a video with the box in action if it helps to solve the problem  Hope someone can help us. Thanks for your time!
