Deluge 1.2.3 doesn't start (SOLVED)

Hi,
Just installed deluge 1.2.3 and it doesn't start,
console opens and closes immediately but the ui doesn't come up and taskmanager is not showing deluge or deluged running..
any suggestions?

EDIT: complete uninstall (deluge+GTK)+restart+install solved the problem

I have the same problem, but what you did unistall+ restart+instal again did not work for me. I have XP SP3 and when i click to run program a cmd window appears and disappear right after and deluge doesn't start. Is there any think i can do to fix this?

Try a complete removal of deluge and gtk, including settings folders.
Then please rerun the installer.

I have the same problemo ...
Install deluge 123 + install GTK , no bueno ...... doesn't work , it starts a cmd , and closes quickly.
I uninstalled both (deleted both folders from program files), then restarted , installed again , doesn't work.
Maybe I didn't deleted de Settings folder , were is that exactly ???? If it's not in the same folder as the program then this might be the reason
Anyway if it helps this is the message I get if I start deluge from cmd :

I've tried everything
I found Settings folder (in aplication data) , done what you said over and over again . It still doesn't work:(
Maybe it's something wrong with my windows ..... what's that error about though?

The error simply means that it cannot find GTK to use. you should check that the windows PATH is pointing to the correct location for GTK. Also have a look at some other posts in this forum, they might help.

Had the same problem on Win7 x64. I uninstalled GTK and Deluge, then reinstalled and it worked fine with no restart.
